Accounting

Invoices are the revenue basis in Bookingleaf. Everything that should be recorded as revenue will be invoiced. You can therefore extract invoices from Bookingleaf and book them.

Recommended bookkeeping routine

Most of our customers simply print out the invoice journal and book it against income and a collection account, then they extract the payment list and book it against the collection account and against the bank.

Where to find the reports

These reports are located under "Reports -> Accounting reports" and then:

• Invoice journal - to book against income and collection account
• Invoice payments - to book against collection account and bank

Export options

We also have an export to PowerOffice file, located under the invoice journal. It's also possible to export all .pdf invoices as a .zip file if you want that as a basis.

Bookingleaf as source

Bookingleaf is the "source" and if you need details you can go in there and see. All transactions and details are available in the system for further analysis or verification.
