Give a discount when you enroll someone
When you enroll a participant yourself, you decide the price. You can pick one of the course's prices, enter another amount, make the enrollment free, or give a discount in percent or kroner in a draft order.
Choose the participant's price
-
Open the course and go to the Enrolled tab.
-
Click Add participants.
-
Under What, choose the Kind of enrollment: Rest of the course or Single sessions.
-
Under Participants, find the participant with Search for a contact.
-
Choose the participant's Price:
- one of the course's prices
- Free
- Another price, and enter the Amount
If you enroll several at the same price, switch on Same price for all.
-
Under How, choose Enroll now, and click Enroll.
If the participant should pay a fixed amount, Another price is the simplest. The enrollment makes a new order right away.
Give a discount in percent or kroner
To give a discount in percent, or take an amount off one of the course's prices, use a draft order.
- Follow the steps above, but click Open as draft order instead of Enroll. A draft order is for one customer, so if you enroll participants from several families, do one customer at a time.
- In the draft order, click Discount by Price adjustments under the line.
- Choose the Discount type: Percent or Fixed amount, and enter the Amount. Text is optional.
- Click Save. The line shows the discount, for example "10% discount".
- Under Finalize draft, click Finalize as new order. If the customer already has an open order, you can choose Finalize and add to order instead.
In the draft order you can also use the customer's Cashpoints on the line.
The discount stays with the enrollment
The price you choose, and the discount in the draft order, are on the enrollment itself. If the participant deregisters later, from the course or from single sessions, the credit and the cashpoints back are worked out from what the customer actually paid.
If the participant is already enrolled, see Change the price for someone already enrolled.
