Leads

People can add themselves to your contact list by using the Connect flow on your homepage. When this happens, Bookingleaf creates a lead so you can notice it and follow up.

Where you see leads

  • Dashboard: The Leads panel shows all open leads.
  • Contact: For any contact that is a lead, the contact page shows a Lead panel with key details and actions.

What you can do from a lead

  • Send a communication: Send a message via a communication channel.
  • Send emails: Reach out directly by email when appropriate.
  • Change status: When you have followed up or determined that no action is needed, change the status (for example, to Closed).

Recommended routine

Review the Leads panel on your dashboard regularly:

  1. For each lead, decide whether follow-up is needed.
  2. Send a message or email if you need more information or want to invite them to activities.
  3. Close the lead when the follow-up is complete. Closed leads disappear from the dashboard so new leads are easy to spot.

Tips

  • Keep the list short so new leads are visible at a glance.
  • If someone connected by mistake, you can close the lead after confirming.
